Daniel Nicholson
Entrepreneurship, Business, and Product Development

After graduating as a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Texas at Austin, Daniel moved to Madrid, Spain to work for Iberdrola Renewables, one of the world’s largest renewable energy firms. It was a 9-month international work abroad program he saw as an opportunity to travel and work in one of the sustainability industries of the future.

When his time in Europe was done, he moved back to Austin, Texas in 2008, and it was at this time that he was introduced to a product that would change the trajectory of his life. Daniel discovered NadaMoo!, for himself, in 2008 after an introduction he received to the founder and her CFO business partner. To make a long story short, his family made an investment into the company and became it’s sole financier that would help financially support the growth of the brand from 2008 to 2017.

Since 2011, the company has grown its revenue well over 25x, from being distributed in just a few hundred stores to now when it is in over 8000 stores nationwide, and it is beginning to be distributed in Canada. NadaMoo! has been the driving force, for Daniel, to help build awareness around health, wellness, and sustainability. He believes NadaMoo! is the perfect product to introduce skeptics to plant-based product consumption. When we all begin to consume more plants, we will begin to positively impact the health and sustainability of our planet.

Mylie is the owner of Go Dance, the largest social dance studio in Austin. It is a locally owned and operated company that's been sharing their love of dance for almost 23 years. It has two studios in North and South Austin, over 20 instructors, more than 100 weekly group classes, and private lessons offered seven days a week, so everyone can find what moves them.

Mylie was born in Austin, Texas and raised in Northern California. Looking for more excitement than the mountains and trees could offer, she returned to Austin in 1994; she found what she was looking for in 1996 when she signed up for a Swing class with some friends. Mylie immediately fell in love with dancing for its combination of artistry and technicality. She joined a teacher training class after just a month of classes and was teaching full-time within one year. Mylie went on to compete professionally and with students in country western and west coast swing for a decade

Mylie became co-owner of Go Dance in 1998, and became the sole owner in 2001 at the tender age of 23. Under Mylie's leadership Go Dance has grown to having two locations: North Austin and South Austin. With the demands of running the largest social dance studio in Austin, it's rare to see her teaching these days, though she loves it when she can find the time!

Mylie is very passionate about creating an amazing, fruitful learning experience for her students and a wonderful employment experience for her staff. Mylie truly loves dance and she enjoys hearing about how dance has positively impacted students' lives. When Mylie isn't at Go Dance, she is spending time with her son Daxton, and daughter Cecily, hiking, swimming, and whipping up delicious meals with farmers market ingredients.
